The two batch oven prototypes (e.g. deck oven and ventilated oven) have been successfully manufactured and are ready to be tested.

First year LEO consortium meeting

The LEO 1st year consortium meeting was held in Goteborg (Sweden) the 23 March 2015.

Laboratory Testing of LEO Prototypes

After one year of activity, the LEO project is entering a new phase of development. The two batch ovens (deck and convection) built by Ramalhos and the conveyor oven developed by Ircon are transferred respectively to ONIRIS and SP for laboratory testing.

Bakery and bake-off Market Study
The LEO consortium is pleased to announce the release of the 'Bakery and bake-off Market Study'. This document has been developed for the need of the LEO project and to prepare future commercialisation of the infrared baking technology. Nevertheless we believe that all the actors of the bakery sector might be interested as well and the LEO consortium is keen to share these information with you.

The first semester project meeting
1 July 2014, Agueda, Portugal

The LEO partners will hold the next consortium meeting in Agueda (Portugal) the 1st July 2014. The partner Ramalhos will hold the first semester meeting in their facilities allowing the rest of the consortium to see the advancement made on the two infrared batch prototypes.

FP7 LEO: Official project launch

Recently the EC funded LEO project - aimed at developing innovative infrared baking ovens and supporting their commercialization - has been officially launched. The project kick-off meeting took place on 20-21 January 2014 in Agueda (Portugal).
